We are excited to announce the grand opening of the SAS Assegaai Submarine Museum on Febuary 2025!
The team is diligently working to transform the historic submarine into a captivating museum experience. This includes preparing the submarine itself, developing engaging exhibits, and creating welcoming visitor facilities.

Assegaai Submarine Museum

The Assegaai Submarine Museum is a non-profit educational institution dedicated to preserving South African naval history and public education through the restoration, exhibition, and interpretation of the SAS Assegaai submarine.  This historic vessel serves as a unique historical site and museum artifact, offering visitors a chance to learn about submarine technology, South Africa's naval heritage, and the importance of historic preservation.
